Liverpool ONE is built around movement: people arriving from different directions, crossing paths, going up and down escalators, choosing what to buy, what to eat, where to go next. It is a living map of decisions.

Most people experience it in automatic mode: rushing between shops, scrolling while walking, eating quickly, half-present. But with a small shift in awareness, Liverpool ONE becomes a practice space for:

Quantum Practice: “The Conscious Corridor Walk”

Choose one long corridor or sequence of streets inside Liverpool ONE (for example, from a main entrance down toward John Lewis, the cinema or the restaurants). Now, transform it into a conscious corridor.

Step 1 – Set an Intention for Your State

Before you start walking, ask:

  • “How do I choose to move through my life today?”

Pick one word that describes your desired state:

  • Calm
  • Decisive
  • Curious
  • Open
  • Grounded

This word is your internal frequency for the walk.

Step 2 – Walk in Three Phases

  1. Phase 1 – Observe (no buying): For the first part, just observe: lights, shop windows, people’s expressions, sounds. Notice how your body reacts to certain stimuli – excitement, pressure, desire, comparison.
  2. Phase 2 – Choose (with awareness): If you enter any shop, do it deliberately. Before picking anything up, ask: “Does this add energy to my life, or does it only fill a moment?”
  3. Phase 3 – Align (exit with clarity): As you leave, walk a few minutes simply repeating your chosen word in your mind (calm, decisive, curious, etc.), letting your posture and pace match that energy.

You are training your brain to associate busy environments with conscious movement instead of unconscious consumption.

Step 1 – Find a Spot With a View

Sit or stand where you can see part of Liverpool ONE below and some of the skyline. Put your phone on silent or face down for at least 5 minutes.

Step 2 – Widen Your Vision

  1. Look straight ahead at one fixed point for a few seconds.
  2. Then soften your gaze to include more of the scene in your peripheral vision.
  3. Let your awareness rest on the whole panorama instead of one detail.

This visual shift activates the parasympathetic system, lowering stress and helping the brain switch from “tunnel focus” to “big picture mode”.

Step 3 – Ask Three Perspective Questions
